Excellent doctor that listened and tried to find out how he could help. This was my second experience with Dr. Lumba in his pain management clinic. This one was on the 25th of Jan. The first one was 16 months ago. In both times I found Dr. Lumba and his clinic staff very caring and compassionate. The clinic was clean and well equipped. Doctor was clear and obviously knew what to ask. However it was confusing since he directed most of his attention to the two interns who were with him and the computer person recording the session. I was unable to figure out what would be injected into my hips during my next visit.

This is my second time getting referred to Dr. Loomba, MD. First time I stopped going as I was going to get surgery. Now I want to try other options before invasive surgery. And his office scheduled me for injection, quite quickly which I appreciate. The staff is kind, patient and understanding. One thing I can say is I've gone to doctors who don't even remember me. Dr. Loomba did remember me, so much so he remembered where I worked, so that shows you he does listen to you. And that's huge in my book. I'm praying he can get me out of my horrible pain, so I can be the best mother to my two sons, and live a better life than I do now.

Dr Loomba was great for first exam. He actually provides care. One example is that he ordered his own MRI & x-rays at my first appointment. That tells me he actually want to know what's going on. Not like these other pain management offices that run you thru the mill just to have you revisit them monthly. They don't really care for you. They just issue you enough medication to get you thru â…” of the month. Never recommend therapy. But if you ask for therapy they tell you ,"Sure, we'll talk about it next month". Or they make you change insurance to fit there criteria . And if you don't or need time to change because it may interfere with connection to your primary. You just have to pay Cash until you get situated. Like I said their not concerned about you, but more about collecting $$$ off you...

So far only one visit to meet Dr. Loomba, he’s already my daughter’s doctor, and she kept urging me to go to him. The doctor I was going to was not doing anything for me, as I have been in pain management for over 35 years. We moved back to California after being gone for about 15 years. The other place did nothing so in essence I am now set back to the beginning, where I can’t hardly get out of bed and basically just get up and go do a couple things then go back and lay back in bed and can’t move. The other doctor’s PA said to just lay down and don’t worry about it. I went to Dr. Loomba and he immediately set a shot for me and tried to get the prior authorization done for the extensive shots (the insurance has to approve, of course.). There’s so much to it but I can’t say enough about Dr. Loomba and him trying to help where the other one, the PA, seemed too lazy and willing to lie on forms. Anyway, so far so good. Nothing but good to say and will stay that way as long as things keep going this way.

The staff is polite. The waiting time wasn’t too long. The procedure was quick, and Dr. Loomis was very gentle doing the procedure.

He really listens, is very knowledgeable, treats appropriately, and is really in tune to my problems. My last pain management doctor just kept loading me up on pills instead of finding the true source of my pain. Dr. Loomba does the total opposite and truly cares about helping find a way to get rid of the problem or at least minimize it to live comfortably if it’s permanent. The staff is always courteous. The appointment process is smooth. I really appreciate him for helping me. I’ve been through years of pain and suffering without any true relief. I finally feel like I’m on my way back to a more normal quality of life. It almost brings me to tears of joy knowing that I’m able to do more than I have in years because of his help. There should be more doctors like him.
